The Kickstarters Gascoyne Dash is 4 day off road desert race that takes place in the Gascoyne region each year, it see's competitors race from Carnarvon to Gascoyne Junction and back again over 2 gruelling race days. The event has been running in the region for over 20 years by a committed and 100% volunteer run committee.

Last year we had close to 60 volunteers assisting in the many roles and tasks required to deliver such a huge huge event. Many of these volunteers are Gascoyne locals however we welcome volunteers from anywhere! Our volunteers bring a huge range of knowledge, skills and experience to the event plus there is an opportunity to learn and develop new skills too!

Anyone can volunteer, there are no prerequisites required for many of the tasks that need doing. While some jobs require training and accreditation (e.g. becoming a scrutineers or other event offical) there are many that don’t (e.g. registration, checkpoints, merchandise/information stall etc.). Our Volunteer Coordinator will ensure volunteers feel competent to fulfil their roles and where necessary training will be provided and briefings will be arranged.

Come and join the action at the 2023 Kickstarters Gascoyne Dash!

When you submit your expression of interest you will be contacted in due course by the volunteer coordinator. Any queries please email admin@gasdash.com
