2016 Kickstarters Gascoyne Dash

It is with great sorrow that the Gascoyne Off Road Racing Club wishes to inform you that due to low confirmed entries the 2016 Kickstarters Gascoyne Dash will not be held as it is not economically viable.

This decision has not been made lightly, however it does give the committee the opportunity to reinvigorate the event.

All entry fees that have been paid will be reimbursed in full. Deb will be in touch to get your bank details and confirm the amounts paid.

Rest assured that this is not the end of the Gascoyne Dash and we will have exciting news for everyone in the near future.

The Gascoyne Off Road Racing Club would like to thank everyone for their support and we look forward to growing the relationship in the years to come.

The ADVENTURE continues!

The Kickstarters Gascoyne Dash powered past several fancied contenders to take a Bronze Award at the annual WA Tourism Awards. The winner was Argyle Diamonds Ord Valley Muster and second Skyworks so the Dash was in very company with 9 finalists in the Festivals and Events category.

To be selected as a finalist the Dash needed to achieve Australian Tourism Business Accreditation which is managed by the WA Tourism Commission. The accreditation criteria covers 14 very important subjects covering matters of risk management, customer service, strategic planning and succession planning. Event Director Paul Kelly said “The accreditation process was very thorough; a judge from Tourism Council of WA visited us in Carnarvon and offered very good advice on the structure of our accreditation and entry application. He was most impressed by the extent of existing documentation and this told us that we have this business on track”

The award capped a great year for the Dash which included another very successful Dash and national launch of the 2009 DVD on the cover of Australian Trailrider magazine.
