2016 Kickstarters Gascoyne Dash

It is with great sorrow that the Gascoyne Off Road Racing Club wishes to inform you that due to low confirmed entries the 2016 Kickstarters Gascoyne Dash will not be held as it is not economically viable.

This decision has not been made lightly, however it does give the committee the opportunity to reinvigorate the event.

All entry fees that have been paid will be reimbursed in full. Deb will be in touch to get your bank details and confirm the amounts paid.

Rest assured that this is not the end of the Gascoyne Dash and we will have exciting news for everyone in the near future.

The Gascoyne Off Road Racing Club would like to thank everyone for their support and we look forward to growing the relationship in the years to come.

The ADVENTURE continues!

The Gascoyne Offroad Racing Club recently held a fundraising event in Carnarvon. In excess of $18,000 was raised from the evening which saw monster raffles and a reverse draw for the major prize $1,000 cash. Over 200 attended and enjoyed the night with the humour of the draw and refreshments.
Club President and local real estate identity Ted Schultz explained where the funds raised will be used “Our Club and its premier offroad racing Event the Kickstarters Gascoyne Dash® is growing and with growth comes all sorts of pressure including financial. The last few years has seen us incur losses caused by our investment in infrastructure and the cost in increasing our brand image in the offroad motorsports market place. Cost containment will be an important consideration in 2009 and we are actively pursuing a major sponsor.”
Mr. Schultz outlined other fundraising activities “The Club is well recognized in Carnarvon as a provider of quality food and beverage management services and there a several events this year where our services have been asked for. Our fundraising team headed by Wayne Reece will have other raffles and novelty events in the pipeline.
“On behalf of the Club we would like to thank all patrons of our fund raising event, all our sponsors and our great team of volunteers. We also thank the owners of the Old Carnarvon Club for kindly providing the venue” an appreciative Mr. Schultz said.
