2016 Kickstarters Gascoyne Dash

It is with great sorrow that the Gascoyne Off Road Racing Club wishes to inform you that due to low confirmed entries the 2016 Kickstarters Gascoyne Dash will not be held as it is not economically viable.

This decision has not been made lightly, however it does give the committee the opportunity to reinvigorate the event.

All entry fees that have been paid will be reimbursed in full. Deb will be in touch to get your bank details and confirm the amounts paid.

Rest assured that this is not the end of the Gascoyne Dash and we will have exciting news for everyone in the near future.

The Gascoyne Off Road Racing Club would like to thank everyone for their support and we look forward to growing the relationship in the years to come.

Up date on Changes for 2013 Dash

Further to the announcement of race format change ; the Event Management wish to clearly clarify;

  • Racing will finish Sunday 3 November at Coonatha Race Complex on Bidgemia Station - Gascoyne Junction
  • Racing WILL NOT finish at Carnarvon Race Club

Essentially everyone will be able to free camp at Coonatha Race Complex on Bidgemia Station - Gascoyne Junction on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Meals, grog, hot showers and entertainment available.

Common questions; 

Q: Will I need to change my accommodation on Sunday night in Carnarvon?

A: Yes you do, the race ends Coonatha Race Complex on Bidgemia Station - Gascoyne Junction. Please cancel or amend all accommodation bookings in Carnarvon for Sunday 3 November

Q: Where will presentations take place

A: Coonatha Race Complex on Bidgemia Station - Gascoyne Junction.

Q: Is camping available on Sunday evening 3 November 2013

A: Yes, free camping is available at Coonatha Race Complex on Bidgemia Station - Gascoyne Junction.

Q: Will meals and drinks be available at Coonatha Race Complex on Bidgemia Station - Gascoyne Junction on Sunday 3 November 2013
A: Yes meals, drinks and entertainment will be available. Menu will issue shortly

Q: Do I still come to Carnarvon?

A: Yes, you need to attend Carnarvon on Thursday 31 October for registration and Friday 1 November for Prologue
