2016 Kickstarters Gascoyne Dash

It is with great sorrow that the Gascoyne Off Road Racing Club wishes to inform you that due to low confirmed entries the 2016 Kickstarters Gascoyne Dash will not be held as it is not economically viable.

This decision has not been made lightly, however it does give the committee the opportunity to reinvigorate the event.

All entry fees that have been paid will be reimbursed in full. Deb will be in touch to get your bank details and confirm the amounts paid.

Rest assured that this is not the end of the Gascoyne Dash and we will have exciting news for everyone in the near future.

The Gascoyne Off Road Racing Club would like to thank everyone for their support and we look forward to growing the relationship in the years to come.

The ADVENTURE continues!

IMPORTANT NOTICE - Change to 2013 Dash course

Posted on 08.10.2013

The Gascoyne Offroad Racing Club Inc. has an important announcement regarding the 2013 event race track course.

Event Director Paul Kelly announced this evening "Due to tragic circumstances the Club Board this evening decided to conduct both day's of the 2013 event on Bidgemia Station".

What this means for competitors, crews and spectators;

  • The new course will essentially be 2 times the Day One track with a variation on Day Two to include a river section of between 35 and 48 kms between Lyons North (Fuel Point 1) and Junction (Fuel Point 2).
  • The event distance is now approximately 400 kms. The Club assumes competitors will use the same fuel order as Day One for Day Two. The Club will make a cash adjustment, paid at Registration, for the difference in fuel cost; alternatively competitors may wish to donate the difference to the Royal Flying Doctor Service.
  • Registration and Prologue - Thursday and Friday are in Carnarvon
  • Day One and Day Two racing and Presentations at Bidgemia Station - Gascoyne Junction.
  • Full bar and meals available as well as ice. Event menu will be published shortly
